In times of fake news, reality is a vague concept. For an artist, however, this has always been the case. What does reality show, and how does the artist work on the canvas so that reality appears as such to the viewer? In the following, you will see a series of oil paintings that I depict in a realistic manner. Many are subjects of the city of Zurich – corners that are familiar and dear to me.
